I miss mega.co.nz QQ, but I still love this site though uptobox is and devhost are my favorites.. P.S are we allowed to upload whenever we want to ? like in comments.
Is it so hard to click on the series name and go to either MAL, ANN, AniDB, or AnimeNfo and find the info on one of those sites?
I do understand where you're coming from and all, sometimes it's easier if all the info is on the 1 page, but the titles match what the torrent submitter put. Sometimes if you check out the 'Article' section it will match the title the subgroup had for the blogpost on their website. If not you can go to the website and check what was written in the post and if it is the final episode it should be clear. You can always go to animetake/animefansftw and dao/smf will write "final" in the title for the episode.
I'm getting severe packet loss from the server - I'll need to bug the host to get them to fix it. Unfortunately this means that subtitles and thumbnail previews will be unavailable until it comes back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I don't think it's as simple as you think it is unfortunately. The script isn't that well suited to manga though - it would need to be adapted to be more useful.
Of course, if all you want is just a torrent fetcher, you don't need my script.
So this is intermittent, as in, Anonfiles sometimes works? I see your comment below indicating that this occurs with most websites - are you perhaps using some wireless link somewhere? I can't say why Anonfiles would be particularly problematic if this is the case though.
Thanks for your kind thoughts. I don't think i am getting any error in the browser except for the intermittent part where my connection is being interrupted or reset when browsing.
Your ping/traceroute seem to indicate that anonfiles.com isn't blocked, or at the very least, DNS is resolving fine and ICMP packets are going through. It's possible that something is blocking TCP/HTTP, though it's probably most likely Anonfiles themselves doing it. Unless you're getting some specific error in the browser?
I've removed some of the posted traceroute output for your privacy.
One point to add is that sometimes browsing any site initially will cause connection to reset in firefox or connection to be interrupted in chrome. I ran Malwarebytes scan but nothing came out. Don't know if it is an ISP thing but i'll wait it out to see.
PS: Browsing most sites are somewhat annoying due to as mentioned above but generally still operational. It is some of the sites like anonfiles and firedrive that are giving me issues.
Quick note: Admin, your download script gets confused in the rare case when sequentially fetching two torrents containing same named files (with different content).
For me it's ok. Win7 Premium 64 Bit / IE9 / Brasil. The only change/catch is that although indicates as a ".RAR" archive, it's actually a ".7z" with "SFX" instance.
Googling those terms leads to one article about being blocked from Pirate's Bay and a torrent site (linx-10ge.lon1.uk.portlane.net [195.66.225.159]) but at a glance I think it is coincidental. I didn't do lookup on the numeric addresses.
Search server completely crapped out now :( It was causing issues for some time, but I managed to come up with a (ugly) workaround. Now that doesn't work any more...
I'll have to see what I can do about this, but for now, search is dead. Sorry about that and thanks for the note. If anyone here happens to be an expert with Sphinx search, I'm willing to take advice.
EDIT: managed to get it back up; still some other problems remain :/
The first thing I would try is to clear your DNS cache. Assuming Windows, open a command prompt window (sometimes found in the Accessories or System Tools folder). To clear the cache, go to the command prompt and type
ipconfig /flushdns
Let's hope that works.
The second thing I would try is a cold reboot. Stuff just gets goofed up sometimes.
The third thing would be to try to remember any system update or other changes just before this problem began.
The fourth thing would be to go to TorrentFreak's website and see if they note any news which might apply to your location. For example, there has been a lot of news about Great Britain blocking sites recently.
Is anyone having problems accessing Anonfiles? I tried firefox, chrome and IE but to no avail. But i can access Anonfiles with tor browser. There doesn't seem to be any firewall issues.
Also, i cant seem to get past the first page of firedrive url to retrieve the dl link after clicking "Continue to file" Tor browser is able to retrieve the dl after clicking "Continue to file".
Sorry that i had to ask this here but couldn't find the cause after googling it.
Also oddly searches recently only go back a certain distance or title amount, so a title with many entries versus a title with fewer entries will not go back to specific date limit, but seems to be a specific entry or pot limit that it turns up (ie 'HorribleSubs' given their amount of releases barely goes back a month, whereas "OZC" may go bck more than a year).
I search and I search always, using the scroll fills my hard drive too quickly, as well as my evenings.
Otherwise, thanks, great site, very glad to be here most days, much appreciated and then some.
I want MangaTosho , i want SeriesTosho , i want EverythingTosho . While Manga is way more important . please for god sake ... consider adding that too . or you could host your script in sourceforge or git with got damn hard license and other people use their resource (VPS) with your script and distirbute the Goddness . :)
Will AnimeTosho be mirroring files from other (non-anime) categories of TokyoTosho or NyaaTorrents? Maybe. The main constraint here, again, is server bandwidth required for such things. Mirroring other categories will most likely require more servers to handle the load.
Just include English translated for now
Dear Admin, Can I Join Your Site ? I Am An Encoder I Can Compress Episodes in 95 MB To 170 MBRip This Is My Blog - http://watchhdanimeshindi.blogspot.in I wanted to Famous My Blog.I will Upload Pokemon XY's English Subbed or dubbed 95 mb or 140 MBrip Like This -
-When a torrent is deleted on Nyaa, the file usually gets deleted here at AT, but it may take a while, even a day. Nyaa is pretty good at catching and deleting inappropriate torrents.
-When/If something slips thru, if you could leave a note with a link to that AT page here.
-I don't think you were asking if we can delete stuff on Nyaa? Their loss.
More seriously, unfortunately tny.cz have a 1MB size limit, so that 3MB font won't fit there. I'd imagine most other paste services would have similar limits. As for regular hoster, that's what the "All Attachments" link is for.
In reality it's actually a fair bit more than 33%, since the attachments are 7-Zipped. And then there's those files that have 60MB of fonts (yes, I've seen them, people do it)...
It's using uuencoding. According to Wikipedia it adds about 33% overhead, which I wouldn't call "ridiculously" high (wow, so 3 MB turns into 4 MB. your internet connection is not capable of handling that??). You could upload an ASS file with embedded attachments to a text file hoster alternatively to one with all attachments stored on a regular hoster.
