It has been quite a while, haha. Should change that title to "Still in Beta" xD

Yeah, it's a known current limitation unfortunately.
Try narrowing your search terms or use Google to search, is all I can recommend at this point.

Interesting. Meh.

BETA is synonymous to being awesome. AT will never stop being awesome."

I guess I wasn't high. :3

I remember admin posting something about BETA being synonymous to "Awesome" and that AT will never stop being awesome.

Or it could've been a dream or I was high.

I should have written, "If the results are numerous enough to not fit on the results page, there is no way to view the overflow."

I think the website is already few years lol.

When are you guys going to end the "BETA" status?

I've noticed what I think is a bug in the search function. If the results are numerous enough to not fit on the results page, there is no way to view them. There is no "Next page," or "Older Entries" link.

I presume it would be some sort of base64 encode or similar, in other words, rather inefficient.
Thanks for the tip nonetheless though.

There is a way to add attachments to the ASS subtitles themself in form of UTF8 or ASCII formatted text (MkvMergeGUI will automatically recognize such attachments when you're muxing the subs). Aegisub can do this, but I don't know how to do this with command line. But maybe I'll find a solution and post it here.

Sorry for the inconveniences.

I haven't heard of any US legislation about enforcing DNS blocking (has been discussed, but not put into action).
UK ISPs do perform DNS blocking, but only on the bigger sites. I'd find it rather weird if minglong.org was blocked.
The blocks can easily be circumvented by just using an alternative DNS resolver, examples OpenDNS, Google DNS. This may not work if the countries that the DNS resolvers reside in have to enforce DNS blocking, but this doesn't appear to be the case yet.

In either case, AT is not likely to get blocked any time soon in the US, simply due to how small this website is along with the target demographic.

For your case of not being able to access minglong, it's much more likely a network/routing or server issue.

If you have Comcast or Verizon, or one of those bigger ISPs then it could be them blocking it.

Also from the US and it worked fine for me.

Stop sharing subtitle attachment on multiupload. Link dies quickly. Try zippyshare, get.tt, sendspace, 1fichier.

DNS Blocking by US

A week ago I saw evidence that the US was beginning to block sites at the DNS level, specifically nipponsei.minglong.org, a place for anime music.  Your browser will just tell you it can't find the site or there is no response or it times out, etc.

The same thing could happen here at AnimeTosho or Tibb's place or anywhere.  Now is the time to prepare, because too late is too late.  So my suggestions:

1. If your browser can't connect to AT for a few days, try:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

2. If the AT site is up for everyone else, try to connect to AT with an anonymizer, like:

https://simple-proxy.com/

It hides your location.  Type or copy AT's address in the box at the top of their page

I got my anime music site back this way.

Let's hope you never need to know this to find AT, but you'll probably need to know this for some reason in the near future.

Admin, if you have better or other advice?  And thanks for everything.

That's very weird - not entirely sure, but it appears the search server barfed.
It should be fixed now. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.

If i search for deadfish (https://animetosho.org/search?q=deadfish) i only get updates until 09/03/2014. While in reality the recent torrent from deadfish is today 11/03/2014 (https://animetosho.org/view/deadfish-pretty-rhythm-rainbow-live-48-720p-aac-mp4.753615)

Hmm, it seems that ImageShack doesn't work if the URL is changed to HTTPS... Don't know why it did before.
Imgur still works, but I don't think I'll bother with it for that case.
I potentially have a better fix to the problem anyway.

Thanks for the tip nonetheless.

Okay it still should pick it up cause I have ad-block on and it works fine and of course an anti-virus but my anti-virus is a bit picky.

But it still downloads also try Tibb method maybe that'll work for you.

Here is the fool-proof way of doing it. I can't say why IDM doesn't detects it for you and auto grabs it, but this way will ensure IDM picks it up for you (if the file exists).

1.Foremost click on the mirror link on the File1 page, this should initiate a download with the built-in downloader on Chrome.
2. Next go to your downloads page (Ctrl+J or drop-down-menu and select Downloads)
3. On the download page cancel the download.
4. Right-click on the download (the one you just cancelled) and select "Copy Link Address"
5. Now open up IDM and select "Add URL"
6. Now paste in the text-box what you copied.
7. IDM should auto-detect the file and dispaly the name/filesize/file type
8. All that's left to do is select the Start Download button!

P.S. This should work with all hosters (unless it downloads via a PHP function and there isn't an concrete HTML link for the file)
P.P.S. You may run into trouble such as link expiration, so try to download the file as soon as possible!
P.P.P.S. You can do this with the batch download (paste in a text-editor for all links then copy all the links)
P.P.P.P.S. P-P hehehehehehuhuhuhehehehehhuheuhe

Hm that's weird your just clicking on the mirror link right and not right clicking on it.

Actually I take that back I don't have to disable my Ghostery.

What web browser are you using?!
