26/05/2017 19:36 — AnimeRG
meh...
Yep, planning on batching a few shows. Should be up by next month or something.

awesome!

Jeodrive has good speed. Also to consider: Cloudyfiles.co, FilesCDN.com, ulozto.net/Uloz.to

Does anyone else get 404 page not found when clicking on nzb or is it just me?

Attachments seem to be broken for everyone.

The files themselves have actually been posted though.

Unlimited Edit Works
Yep, AT storage have a problem
28/05/2017 05:08 — admin
Sorry about that, it should be fixed now.
28/05/2017 03:51 — RamenSub
If only people would read my torrents' description and download from AT instead, I could use my bandwith to seed/upload more efficiently. :/
Or are all these leechers a bot? =___=
28/05/2017 08:28 — Akatsuki_Nin
You should've kept the name same on both Anidex and Nyaa.
I seached AT for "[Mazui] Ookami to Koushinryou II (Spice and Wolf II) + SP01 + SP02 [720p]" but you had it under Spice and Wolf II.
Saw that after 67% done lol
28/05/2017 09:02 — RamenSub
AT take awhile to update the torrent name.
28/05/2017 10:20 — Akatsuki_Nin
oh.. sorry I guessed AT has name "Spice and Wolf II" because you put that on Anidex..
Wonder why it's not using the Anidex name..
28/05/2017 11:17 — admin
Something needs to re-check sources to update info - we don't get notified of changes.
I haven't yet written support for this in the AniDex handler, so at the moment, AniDex updates never get incorporated.
28/05/2017 11:42 — Anonymous: "Mirai"
Heyho thanks for the uploads :)

Could you tell me what Groups did the files in the three "Ookami to Koushinryou" folders?
28/05/2017 12:18 — RamenSub
I have uploaded the
season 1
https://animetosho.org/view/spice-wolf.d46672
https://animetosho.org/view/ookami-kou...aac.d46590
season 2
https://animetosho.org/view/spice-wolf-ii.d46674
https://animetosho.org/view/ookami-kou...aac.d46696

There's also Coalgirl's release of season 2 and season 2 OVA, but I don't feel like sharing them through public trackers. :^)
It's alrd uploaded to nyaa.si anyway

It gives me this error message when i try to download something through RSS on utorrent:

What version of uTorrent are you running? Also, are you using RSS or Atom feed?

Can you do something about all these spam comments started popping up?

replace simple captcha with Google's reCAPTCHA
30/05/2017 06:10 *admin
Not sure that'll make any difference, plus reCAPTCHA is a major pain in the ass.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
01/06/2017 17:11 — Anonymous: "MeH"
Google reCAPTCHA is just crap.
Many errors and sometimes it even gets impossible to post comments due to errors.
And thanks for your consideration, admin ;)

2.2.1 and RSS.
30/05/2017 12:26 — admin
Urgh, looks like that version of uTorrent doesn't check MIME types of enclosures.
I've added a new 'RSS2 Torrent Feed' type to work around this - can you give this a try?
31/05/2017 11:08 *Salt_Cel
Yep it works just fine now, thank you :)
30/05/2017 13:50 — Anonymous
Stick to qbittorent

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
Mmmh, strange. Direct links seem to work currently, as several links succeeded. But this batch just doesn't work for me:
https://animetosho.org/view/bodacious-...c2.1024917
Looks a bit random...
30/05/2017 04:15 *admin
I think there was a period of a few months where authentication wasn't working when uploads were done, so they were uploaded anonymously and the links died quick. I suspect it was around late 2016 / early 2017, so maybe that was one of them.
31/05/2017 05:04 — Anonymous: "hoster hunter"
Just tried ClickNUpload for the first time. Very nice addition to the list of hosters. good speed easy use Thanks.

Is there some way to do a logical search like "dual OR dub"?
01/06/2017 11:00 — RamenSub
for now you need to include this:
dual | dub
then press search.
Add this at the end of the URL
&qx=1
press ENTER
example
https://animetosho.org/search?qx=1&q=o...| dub&qx=1
01/06/2017 14:26 — Anonymous
Excellent! Thanks :D

If its not going to change soon, then maybe consider adding it to the FAQ under a searching heading.

The new torrent-only RSS feed is great. From where do you collect them, other than user postings?
The first page mentions AniDex and HorribleSubs but do you also read https://nyaa.si/?page=rss   ?
In that case I can exclusively use your feed.
02/06/2017 05:09 — admin
Entries currently pulled from TokyoTosho, AniDex and HorribleSubs. Nyaa.si is not included at the moment.

admin,

I don't know if you're still supporting a Cloudflare version of AT, but cf.animetosho.org is now blocked by Firefox:

"cf.animetosho.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for animetosho.org Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN"

I think it was working up until a couple of days ago.  Fyi, during the last few weeks it often seemed to load faster than the default site, but all about the same now, at least for me.  Probably not worth paying for at this point, if you're paying for it.

Thanks for the many options during the problems!  It was interesting.

02/06/2017 05:13 — admin
Well, that was a bit unexpected. I expected HTTPS to stop working, but not so soon...
CloudFlare wants to have full control over DNS, and I'm unwilling to hand that over. It seems like CloudFlare actually checks to ensure that it still has control over DNS, and deactivates sites if it notices when it doesn't.

As such, I'm not sure I can continue supporting it unfortunately. Thanks for the feedback on your experience though!

Those interested in taking some control of their individual DNS security (and maybe even improve DNS performance) might want to investigate and implement DNSCrypt. Been using it without any problems for some time. Set up is very simple with the official GUI version...or you can roll your own.

For your reading pleasure:
https://www.opendns.com/about/innovati.../dnscrypt/ (no, you don't have to use Open DNS, this is just info)

3rd party resolvers can also bypass any DNS based filtering that ISPs may be forced into doing.
But one thing to be aware of, however, is that this resolver will know every DNS query you perform, and does have the ability to tamper with requests/responses. DNSCrypt protects you from attacks between you and the resolver, but doesn't protect you from a malicious resolver.
I'm not discouraging its use (especially if you're already using a 3rd party resolver) but just be aware of who you're putting your trust in. It's rather unfortunate that DNS security is poor, so anything to improve it is a win, as long as you pick a reputable resolver.

AnimeTosho's DNS is signed with DNSSEC. Unfortunately, most resolvers ignore it though.

The Simple DNSCrypt utility offers a drop-down selection of providers. Public DNS resolvers like Cisco OpenDNS and many members of the OpenNIC network are included. https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-p...olvers.csv

The GUI indicates whether or not logging occurs and if DNSSEC is supported. Some providers log activity, some don't, and quite a few support DNSSEC. To help make selections, the list can be queried (via the "clock" icon) to determine latency to each resolver. It's up to the end-user to do a little homework to be comfortable with their choices.

To your point about bypassing ISP filtering, some users may have reasons to choose an OpenNIC Anycast resolver. https://wiki.opennic.org/start

However, most of their resolvers don't support DNSCrypt, so this tool helps narrow-down that choice, too. OpenNIC doesn't appear to support DNSSEC.
