I'm not having it happen so again its likely only you since no one else is confirming it.  I just tried with three different browsers on my laptop Firefox, Edge, and Google, and even just tried my cellphone to get to the site. So that's 4 browsers total on two different devices.

If you are getting redirects you probably have a virus. Is your Firefox the latest version?

Comes up   https://animetosho.org/   for me every time

When I type in http://23ai I can get into anime tosho but when I type in anime tosho I get that your connection is not secure thing "The owner of animetosho.org has configured their website improperly". The same thing happened when I entered anime tosho in my safari browser on my other device. I guess it doesn't matter entirely since I can still get in by 23ai but this is frustrating.

That's an interesting issue. Are you able to perform the following diagnostics?

What does animetosho.org resolve to? You can try obtaining this by opening up a command prompt, entering ping animetosho.org and posting what it outputs.

Do you know what DNS servers you have configured?

Is the clock on your system reasonably accurate?

Are you able to obtain the certificate and post it here? Doing this is a little involved, so hopefully the following procedure works:
1. Download a fresh copy of Firefox Portable and "install" it somewhere (after this, you can just delete the folder).
2. Open up this newly installed Firefox Portable and visit https://animetosho.org/
3. Presumably, you should be getting a "Your connection is not secure" error at this point like you have before, but you should get an "Advanced" button below the error message
4. Click on the Advanced button, then the "Add Exception" button which should show up below
5. A dialog should pop up at this point. Click "Get Certificate", then the "View" button just below it.
6. Another dialog should pop up. Click the Details tab and then the Export button near the bottom-left of the dialog.
7. Save the file somewhere
8. Either upload this file, or open it in Notepad and copy+paste it in a comment here (it should begin with "-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----")
9. Cancel all dialogs and close Firefox Portable. You can delete the Firefox Portable folder if you want to.

as replied on ur previous post, Run malwarebytes and perhaps switch your DNS over to OpenDNS if you haven't already.

He already stated it was his browser settings.

I figured it out it was my protected browser settings. Turned them off and now everything is back to normal.

Just opened AnimeTosho and saw a couple files in processing which were probably mis-categorized as anime https://i.imgur.com/LsrckB1.png
Both have "hindi" in the title; just figured since the site is english only, it could filter off anything that says hindi in the torrent name/title (or other languages).
26/05/2018 15:15 — Aoi_86
Yes, Hindi is piece of shit

WTF was that? XD

Reminds me of those old ridiculous "martial arts" movies. Terrible.
29/05/2018 02:15 — admin
I think they were just misposted to the wrong category, so they should be removed when that gets fixed up.
Thanks for the note.

it'd have been really nice if insteado sorting/filtering listing, remakes by url, done via javascript instead, integrated to settings, when logged in according to account settings.
29/05/2018 02:15 — admin
Remembering the filter is a nice idea, I'll need to look into that.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I really love using the RSS feed but I was wondering why I get dublicate posts send? Your feed sometimes sends out a link with https://animetosho.org/view/ "a257705" and some time later the "better" link with "1224802".

It seems that you use the torrent IDs of the hosts (nyaa, TT and AniDex) for the URL creation which sometimes gets updated to a different ID a bit later which sends out the same Page with two different URLs.

It would make my day if you could either use your own Database IDs for the URL creation or don't update the URL when it seems to switch over from one host to another^^. Or maybe put a delay in place which only pushes the post to the RSS feed when the URL has been decided.

Good point, hadn't thought about that. Should be implemented now.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Is MAL still down for maintenance?
30/05/2018 07:26 — Duder
Yep
31/05/2018 21:19 — Anonymous
'maintenance' for this long.. maybe mal lost tons of member lists & groups and they're too afraid to say it.

Waaaaaaa I think we lost http://clicknupload.link   It was always the one filehost to keep links active longest.  And thinking about that fact might be the reason its wiped off the net.
Diskokosmiko.mx  is an excellent hoster but I don't see links to it as much. Thanks for adding it to the list.

Couldn't disagree with more as far as Anime Tosho is concerned. Your statement is false. Cant speak for other sites but Click links last 2-3 weeks at on average here.

Never used Dskmko.

Fichier is my go to but....

For older anime postings premium links ... occasionally Ive found active Usercloud, Tusfiles or Openload links a few months after posting but in most cases if any premium are still active Filefactory links has been the most likely. Click isn't even close for longevity. Many times Ive come across active FF links months after posting.

Fortunately ClicknUpload is still up and running. It's not lost. The fact is such sites simply change their domain from one to another. I remember it being ClicknUpload.com, then ClicknUpload.net, then ClicknUpload.me, then ClicknUpload.link etc. and now it's ClicknUpload.org.
02/06/2018 00:28 — Satanswarrior
Any idea why they keep changing domains? Just causes problems for a download service as far as customers are concerned.

Well, it can be due to various reasons from technical problems (e.g. with web hosting company or stopping bots) to legal problems (DMCA).

Can we have the links to the Clicknupload change to the .org (if that's how it works)? I get ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS when clicking the Clicknupload links from the releases.

That's right. I just checked several episodes and the ClickNUpload links (which sit first in the Download lists) have .link domain.
Please update the uploader bot and links, admin ;)
For now, anyone can simply change the domain from .link to .org and download from ClickNUpload like before :)
