Dual as in dual-sub (see E1 with English and Vietnamese). I've set DUAL-AUD and MULTI-AUD the day I start ripping and releasing basically an artifact I used from ToonsHub's as example in formatting, so I prefer not to break people's code that depended on my release until I have enough resources to rip from sources with multiple languages and audio and multiple announcements before I apply it.

Let's be real, most VLC users have not delved into said user interface more than once in their life, if at all.

Plus there are countless options contrary to VLC, everyone can find what they desire with it, and that's why you see MPV used almost everywhere as backend and not VLC.

Possibly because VLC has a friendly user interface, while mpv is an inscrutable maze of keyboard shortcuts that can only be customized by hand-editing a text file unless you use a 3rd-party frontend application.

On ATV Infuse player it's somehow detected as only HDR with no DV, although it plays just fine and the color is good. Might just be Infuse and AV1+DV combination I'm guessing..
